Carers Victoria is a not for profit organisation that provides state-wide services and support to unpaid family carers in the community including: advice, information, counselling, support, respite, education and training. Through our policy and advocacy work, we strive for improved services, systems and supports for caring families.
We are seeking assistance with odd jobs which have arisen from the recent commencement of an office refurbishment and reorganisation which will continue through to at least October 2017.
The role will involve physical labour. This may include flattening of boxes, removal of rubbish, relocation and distribution of material and furniture, stocktake and labelling of office furniture, collecting surplus stationary or other supplies and organise items for redistribution and clean and prepare sites.
You may be suitable for this role if you have:
- An ability to work under general direction
- An excellent attitude towards work and other people
- Enthusiasm for a variety of jobs
- A good level of physical fitness
- A proven employment history of reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to abide by Carers Victoria’s policies
